Broken Hill

Broken Hill is a historic mining city in the Far West (Outback)
of the Australian state of New South Wales.

Travel to this place your will need a car to see the town and surrounding independently,
and cars can be rent in the city.

Driving on unsealed roads is only allowed if you hire a four-wheel drive.

These days, Broken Hill offers much more than mining tours and museums.

There are more than 30 art galleries, with work by artists inspired by the town and surrounding landscapes.

Such as Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery, Jack Absalom's Gallery and Pro Hart Gallery.
